I remember my first visit to Spain – Benidorm in 1977. The food at the Hotel Don Juan was appallingly bad. Thank goodness things have changed. I always enjoy my food in Spain now!

There are still lots of crappy restaurants in Benidorm, but fortunately, there are quite a few with quality, innovative food.
